Hotel Metropolitan Kamakura has an exclusive hotel guest carpark (reservations required, 2,000yen/night, Height: 2.1m Width: up to 1.9m). However spaces are limited and the roads around Kamakura can become extremely congested for long periods of time. We recommend using public transport to make your way to the hotel.
Further, please note that the hotel parking may be closed due to traffic restrictions on the roads around the hotel during the year end/New Year holiday, peak seasons and during local events, etc. Information will be posted on the hotel website as soon as details are available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause hotel guests and thank you for your understanding.
Request on the Use of Power Banks
In recent years, there have been cases of smoke and ignition caused by power banks, both in Japan and overseas.
To ensure the safety and security of all our guests, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following matters regarding the use of power banks in the guestrooms.
| 1. Precautions when using and charging power banks | To prevent fires and other emergencies, please refrain from using or charging power banks in the following cases: - Charging power banks when you are out of the room - Using or charging power banks under the direct sunlight near the window - Using or charging power banks on flammable materials, such as beds, sheets, etc. When using power banks to charge portable electronic devices or charging power banks from the guestroom power supply, place them in a location where you can always monitor their condition, in order to allow you to detect and prevent any issues at an early stage. |

| 2. Prohibition of the use of damaged or abnormal power banks | Do not use power banks that are damaged, swollen, or display abnormal heat generation. These are extremely dangerous. |
| 3. Guestroom cleaning | If any of the above situations are observed during room cleaning, our staff may move your power bank or stop charging in order to ensure safety. Thank you for your understanding in advance. |
